6. CONSULTATION SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Clients are encouraged to provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling a consultation.

Cypress Builds may, in its discretion:

• Decline repeated no-shows

• Structural issues

• Water damage

• Plumbing

• Electrical systems

• Permits

Clients should disclose known conditions that could reasonably affect the project.

The Client should also make reasonable efforts to have key decision-makers present during consultations when their participation is necessary.

Cypress Builds is not responsible for conclusions or recommendations materially affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

8. NO GUARANTEE OF PROJECT ACCEPTANCE

Booking or completing a consultation does not guarantee that Cypress Builds will:

• Accept the project

• Submit a proposal

• Provide an estimate

• Provide a bid

• Perform the work

• Meet a requested budget

• Meet a requested timeline

• Obtain permits

• Obtain financing

• Obtain insurance approval

• Obtain grants

12. CONSULTATION ADVICE IS GENERAL

Information provided during a consultation is based on the information available at the time of the consultation.

Unless separately contracted, consultation discussions are not a substitute for:

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FROM CONSULTATIONS

Nothing in this section transfers ownership of materials that the Client independently owns or has lawful rights to use.

Clients should request that material project commitments be documented in writing.

21. CHANGE ORDERS

A consultation, Website statement, email, text message, verbal discussion, or other informal communication does not automatically modify an existing construction contract.

Changes to an existing project should be documented through the applicable written change-order or contract-modification process.

Additional costs, schedule changes, substitutions, additions, deletions, or other modifications will be governed by the applicable written agreement and change-order procedures.

33. INDEMNIFICATION
