Consultation Terms & Conditions

By booking a consultation with Cypress Builds LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Consultation Purpose

The consultation is provided at no cost and is intended to:

  • Discuss your project goals, scope, budget range, and timeline

  • Offer general guidance and professional insight

  • Determine whether the project is a good fit for our services

The consultation does not include construction drawings, engineering, detailed designs, or guaranteed pricing.

2. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule

  • Missed appointments or repeated no-shows may limit future booking availability

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to scheduling conflicts or unforeseen circumstances

3. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project and property information

  • Disclose known issues such as structural concerns, zoning restrictions, or prior work

  • Ensure key decision-makers are present when possible

Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the usefulness of the consultation.

4. No Guarantee of Services

Booking a consultation does not guarantee:

  • Acceptance of the project

  • Pricing, scheduling, or availability

  • Permits, approvals, or feasibility outcomes

We reserve the right to decline projects that are outside our scope, budget alignment, or capacity.

5. Estimates & Advice Disclaimer

  • Any pricing or timelines discussed are preliminary and non-binding

  • Final pricing is subject to site conditions, material selections, design scope, and permit requirements

  • Guidance provided is general in nature and not a substitute for architectural, engineering, or legal services

6. Site Conditions & Safety

For on-site consultations:

  • The property must be reasonably safe and accessible

  • We are not responsible for existing hazards, unsecured areas, pets, or environmental conditions

  • The client assumes responsibility for site safety during the visit

7. Intellectual Property

All ideas, concepts, and recommendations shared during the consultation remain the intellectual property of Cypress Builds LLC unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for decisions made by the client based solely on consultation discussions

  • Liability is limited to direct damages, if any, arising from gross negligence

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

10. Acceptance

By booking a consultation, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
